Military Discount

I'm about to pay the outstanding balance on my cruise on November 24 and was wondering if a military discount is announced for this cruise after I've paid will I get any kind of refund? I have to be all paid up by 26 August to be able to do my online check-in.

Once you have hit your official PIF date, you won't get a full refund. As far as military, it's no guarantee a military rate will be released. So you you would have todo the math. Sometimes it's possible to still save a bit even with the cancellation penalty and switching to the military discount, but not always. The discount doesn't apply to prior bookings. So you would have to cancel and rebook.

You would have to cancel and rebook. Since they are frequently released after PIF date you will suffer a penalty when you cancel. You still might come out ahead, though you may not get the same cabin category.
