Military discount

Hi
Does Anybody know what the Military discount is for RPR or HRH
still trying to decided where to stay then realised that we can get discount and was wondering how much it was,
We might do a split of 2 nights on site and 4 nights off site so we can experience the Universal hotels and FLP without having to re-mortgage
depending on price trying to see if the SMSM is better then the Mil discount!

It all depends on when you are going. You need to call the hotel also to get the military rate. I don't believe in can be found online

I believe Pixiegirl is correct. It will depend on when you are traveling, I'm not sure the military rate for the area is the same at different times of the year. It's probably not going to be the per diem rate you typically receive when traveling on official government orders for business, though I have seen other hotels in the area that do give the per diem rate, the Hilton in DTD for example.

Don't forget to check with your installation or local MWR office for discount tickets to the parks or Shades of Green, if you'll have time to pick them up SOG. Validate they are cheaper than the tickets available on Undercover Tourist.

That won't apply to the OP since she is from the UK. We can't get discounted tickets here.

When looking on the Shades of green website it says that we can get our tickets from them at the discounted rate we just cant stay there My friends picked up there Universal tickets from them and they are Uk forces.

I do know that we can definatly get the Military rate at Universal for Uk forces just wondered if anybody knew what the rate would be,Ive called them now and they did give me discount i was quoted $228 a night for 6 nights at RPR I think this is the best im going to get I was just now wondering if Its better to get the SMSM rate instead!

In terms of tickets I was going to get the deal that was open to the Uk which is the 14 night bonus ticket

I just booked our xmas week vacation thru the universal 800 #. After seaching a little bit more I found the universal website for military. I called and they had no trouble giving me the discount. We saved a few hundred dollars between the tix and hotel discount.
