My friends husband is military and offered to buy our park hopper tickets. She was going to check what their price is. Would I need to show ID at the gate? Does anyone know what the their rate is? We are going next year so the 149.00 for 3 day park hooper special is what we were going to get

There are no military tickets any more through Disney. If they get them through the MWR on base, it is actually more expensive right now than the $149.00 3-day park hopper. Right now the MWR price is a little more than $162.55 for a 3-day park hopper (more b/c that was the July price before DL increased ticket prices), so you're better off ordering it from Disneyland.com for that special promotion.

Don't forget, there is no sales tax! And AP's are much cheaper through MWR.

Disney has a military salute thing right now. If I remember right, the military member is free, and up to 5 tickets are at a reduced rate. I seem to think that it is $90, but don't quote me. Military members also get reduced rates at Disneyland hotels, so check in to that!

I just called my local MWR to get prices for AP's a few days ago and laughed, as it was only 50 cents less than if I just bought at the park or online. Online, a Deluxe AP was $289, at the MWR $288.50. Premium $429, at MWR $428.50. There was no tax on the AP when I bought through Disney. It was just $429.

Also, while WDW is still doing the Salute promotion through the end of the year, it is no longer going on at DL.

That's odd. We just bought our premium passes at MWR for $245 each. Maybe it was a promo. We bought them about 3 weeks ago.

Maybe it depends on where you are located? Since we are stationed in SoCal, maybe they don't give a crap lol. Our Disney discounts stink here. It's like, $0.65 off for a one-day park hopper, $9.00 off for a 2-day PH, and as I mentioned, $0.50 off for AP's.

ETA: I just called another MWR (different location) and asked and they said they don't even sell Disney AP's, just hoppers. I'm exceptionally jealous of your great deal though! I would have loved to save $200 on my PAP :(
