Does anyone know how strict Disney is with the military discounts. My brother returned from Kuwait active duty in November but had to wait until next week to be able to go to Disneyland. He is a Utah National Gaurdsman, if he brings his papers do you think that they'll let him have the discount? With 4 children they could use all the discounts they can get.:D

That's a good question. I am wondering the same thing. Military id's once they are issued are good forever. I am wondering if they are really concerned about the specific deployment on the orders, (overseas) or if they are checking just to see if a service man or reservist has recent orders, indicating that they are still in the military. My brother is in Special Forces. He will probably never get orders stating he must go to a specific overseas location. His will be to report to a specific US base in country. I plan to take a copy of his orders with me next month, along with his kids of course.

Our son is in the Army and we were wondering whether he can purchase 1-day tickets (just the plain old admission ones) for us at his military base even if it appears he won't get to go with us.
We gave America our son; will DL give us a discount?
Just curious.

You should have no problem. When we were growing up my cousins often bought us tickets at the base (their dad was a marine) but rarely went with us. I guess Disney assumes that you can't get on a base without an ID, so the tickets are valid.
