I'm an advisor for a college Veterans Club and I'll be taking a group of student veterans to Disney for the Student Veterans of America conference in January. We've got 2 students who are still active and qualify for the military ticket, so we're wondering if they can buy the tickets for the other vets who are going (they are not retired or 100% disabled, so they don't qualify themselves). I know they can purchase up to 6 tickets, but here's my main question: the members are heading down at different times, so does the active member who purchases the ticket have to be present for all of the others to be able to use the ticket?
I called and asked a cast member and she said as long as they have the paper ticket instead of the code, it would work. However, she sounded really unsure about it, so I wanted to see if anyone else has done this successfully. I would hate to see the guys shell out $200 for a ticket, then not be able to use it because the others don't come down til a few days later.
Thanks for the help!
