Military Discount - SW & Zoo

My cousin is flying up from Arizona to meet us in San Diego. He is in the Army Reserves - will he qualify for any discounts at SeaWorld or San Diego Zoo? Does anyone know?

I saw that SD Zoo said free for active military, but is the reserves considered active?

Sea World is free for the military member plus up to 3 direct dependants. Last time we went in 2005, my husband just filled out a form at the front kiosk, showed his ID and got 4 tickets. I don't know if they make the family members show their ID, we didn't last time.

As far as the zoo, the ITR offices on the bases sell discount tix, but the price list I have now is only $1.00 off. You may do better finding some other types of coupons.

My husband is a reservist, but his ID does not say 'reservist', a lot of times the people at the front don't know the difference.
