This is going to be too much information but my question requires it.
In 2018 there was a law passed called the veterans equal access act. It gave veterans with service connected disabilities access to on base services.
in Disney terms this meant these veterans could now stay at Shades of green in DisneyWorld and purchase slightly discounted tickets (NOT salute tickets).
This is different than those with 100% disability ratings as 100% is considered "retired"
in terms of Disneyland there is no military hotel like shades and according to all Disney websites these service connected veterans are not eligible for the discounted rates.
well in a shades of green Facebook there is a poster saying he has spoken to two levels at Disney who confirmed these veterans- with the service connected disability not at 100%- ARE eligible for these hotel discounts at Disneyland. He says he had checked and talked to two managers, who read the policy out loud to him, told him the website needs updated. They state it's because there isn't an option like shades at Disneyland.
I called and honestly I got a rude CM and she said it was only 100% disabled- which is what I thought.
does anyone have any experience with this?
