Miley Cyrus/Jonas Brothers....what age children?

What age kids are really "in to" Miley Cyrus and the Jonas brothers?

my 8yo daughter has been obsessed with miley for about 2 years, or maybe even more, now. since the show came on really. at first she was a hannah fan and now that shes older shes a miley fan.

shes not so much a jonas fan. in fact she refers to them as the jonas sisters. but that probbaly has to do with her 13yo aunt is "too cool"

My eldest is 10 going on 11 and Hannah Montana and Camp rock is THE best thing in the world to her and all her friends, not so much Miley Cyrus as Miley Cyrus though- definately the disney-fied side of her (same with Jonas Brothers- loved camp rock but i doubt she'd go out of her way to see just Jo Bros)

My niece just turned 9 and loves Hannah Montana, so that extends to Miley.

Both of my boys 3 and 5 LOVE the Jonas Brothers. My 5 year old is having a Camp Rock birthday party this weekend. Last night while we were out at dinner, an image of JB flashed across the screen and my youngest screamed out "jonas brothers, mommy!". My boys aren't crazy about HM though- they are in the girls are icky stage.

So, I think the range is pretty wide.

My niece is 6 and she and her friends are totally into Hannah Montana.
My 4 y.o. son is in love with Miley Cyrus, but does NOT like the show. Just her!

Neither kid has spoken about the Jonas Brothers.

My daughter is almost 8 and LOVES Miley and The Joe Bros. Camp Rock too. She started off loving Hannah Montana, I took her to the concert last October for her bday and she got to see the Jonas Brothers too. She's been hooked every since. She likes Miley more now though and doesn't like how they don't have any Miley stuff, only Hannah Montana. She writes songs and sings ALL.THE.TIME. Wants to be a singer when she grows up.

My 5 yr old son, 3 yr old daughter, and 2 yr old son all love Jonas Brothers... They are all addicted to High School Musical. and they used to like Miley until I stopped it after the pictures LOL -

anyways, they have been in love for about a year.. High School Musical is still their fave though...

and they are falling in love with Selena Gomez... but not Demi ?

My 6 yo is very into Hannah Montana, and Miley Cyrus, Jonas Brothers, Camp Rock, HSM. Anything musical and related to Disney she loves it. She is excited about seeing Emily Osmet's new video.

Since we are talking about ages though....I'm well over 6 and I **love** Miley's newest CD and there are a handful of songs on the new Jonas Bros. CD that I love too. The one they sang on the VMAs is actually my favorite...Love Bug. (very Beatle-ish IMO...even though I try hard not to compare them to other groups)

And Kevin is my favorite...he won me over in Camp Rock.

Hannah Montana and Wizards of Waverly Place are two of my favorite sit-coms. I'm going to be sad when there are no new Hannah Montanas

Here it's 8/9. My dd is in third grade and every kid was decked out head-to-toe HM for first day of school. She also loves HSM. She hates the Jonas Brothers, though, and thought Camp Rock was only okay. My nephew, her cousin, looks just like Nick Jonas and she doesn't get why everyone has a crush on a guy who looks like her goofy cousin! LOL

My 7.5 year old daughter has just gotten into Hannah Montana (although if you ask her she says she doesn't like her). My other two kids (6 & 4) are not into her at all.

5 and 7 year olds here like Miley, 7 year old likes Miley and Jonas, 10 year old ds isn't into either, and 12 year old dd likes Jonas, is over Miley for a while now.

My guess for the biggest group of 'fans' would be the tweens (7-12). Those are the ages that were most prominent at both of the concerts we've been to (Hannah/JoBros, JoBros/Rooney).

My 5 year old & 7year olds LOVE all of this - we have Camp Rock & Hannah Montana all the time.

My DD4.5 is totally in love with Hannah Montana, but doesn't even realize that she is a real person with a different name. She found out about it at daycare, because we don't have the Disney Channel (I know, terrible Disney mom who doesn't have that channel). But I bought her one DVD of the show and it is all she watches on the weekends (only allowed TV on weekends). The dvd she has shows the Jonas Bros, but she isn't interested in them on their own. And just finding out about HSM. My DD2 on the other hand is always yelling "NO TANA-TANA" (baby speak for hannah montana)

My oldest is 10 and she's likes Hannah and Miley both but our youngest is 3yr and loves Hannah, Miley and Jonas Bros. She started because her oldest sister was watching Hannah Montana and now she's a bigger fan than her big sis. Now that I've jump on board with Hannah, Miley and the Jonas Bros and me and my youngest get really excited when we see any of them my oldest has suddenly became a Jonas Brother fan, I think it's because she doesn't want to be left out. Anytime Miley or Jonas Bros come on tv my youngest gets sooo excited she jumps up and wants to sing and dance and she wants mommy to jump and dance with her and of course I do so that leaves my oldest just sitting there but now not so much because she's dancing right along with us.

Leave it to Disney TV/Music stars to bridge the gap of age and coolness!

They also like jonas Brothers and camp rock. They actually were watching one of the recent award shows and were fighting with each other over which of them "was going to marry the one with curly hair"! I am so in for it when they are teenagers....
I have to say I really like to sing along with Miley Cyrus in the car too. I have found myself turning on her CD on several occassions when I am alone and singing as loud as I can...I am not sure why I have just admitted to this, but hopefully there are others out there too.

Dude...I know all the words to her Breakout CD and belt it with and without DD. I also love that she's bopping along to Girls Just Want to Have Fun...brings back memories of me dancing and singing to the Cyndi Lauper version at almost the same age.

The other day I was at the starbucks drive thru, without kids!, and forgot the Miley Cyrus cd was in. While I was waiting for my drink I started singing along. I realized that the teenagers on the other side of the counter could hear me and were dying laughing.
(and can I point out their drinks were like 5 times more expensive than mine?!)
