Milesource Gift ID no. expiration?

I thought I read somewhere that my Gift ID no has a 30 expiration on it, but now I don't read that. If I don't use it will it be gone? Or should I use it now and be stuck buying a past pot or cap? ........and so goes the days of our lives!!

I'm assuming that you have a 2200 mile award certificate which will get you a one of many, many baseball caps or the pasta pot (among other things).

You can do one of two things:

1. Find something that you like for 2200 miles or less and order it. Then wait another 4 to 6 weeks for it or be delivered. There are $5 Burger King, McDonald's and Dunkin Donuts GCs for 1600 points. You would waste 600 points but if you want those GCs more than you want an Atlanta Braves baseball cap, it might be worth.
   OR
2. Wait and keep checking to see what (if anything) they add to the 2200 award mile category. When you see somthing that you want, order it right away. They probably won't have it for long.

   The gift id number probably does expire after a certain amount of time but I don't remember making note of an expiration date when I got one. To me, 30 days doesn't seem like much time when you consider how long it took Milesource to even get that GC number to you.
