Miles and Points

It appears from other posts that most of us are into miles and points. I would love to know how others maximize their miles and points.

I have one airline credit card, one hotel credit card, Chase Freedom and one cashback card. I use 6x categories to maximize gain on each card.

I've been churning but my upcoming Orlando trip will do a lot of burning! I would love to hear from others who do this!

Oh, and of course I have my Disney Visa; however I use it more for the perks, as I get more return off the other cards.

if you have the Freedom you should look into the other Chase options, such as the Sapphire preferred- the SapphireP will allow you to use your freedom points in so many other ways, including 20% discounts on travel thru their portal. (you can see the UR portal with Freedom, but the discounts and rewards are different with SapphirePlus) having both is a smart way to maximize...

I'm about Chased out. Disney is Chase. SW is Chase and Freedom is Chase. I had to find something that wasn't Chase!

It seems like most people in this game have 4-5 Chase cards open, and worst case scenario is they ask you to move some credit lines around. If you don't really use your Disney card, you can just have them pull from that. The higher tier card is great if you want to maximize the value from the Freedom points though. I don't have the Saphire Preferred, but I do have the Ink Bold. LOVE getting 5X points on internet, cable, cell, and office supply stores.
