I just noticed that the coordinates (for ex. X 340, Y 248) for where you are clicking on the map on the Mile Hunter game on Milesource are listed at the bottom of the page. I had never noticed this before.

I think the place where they are listed is called the task bar - not sure of that though - as you can see I'm not real up on my computer terms.

Pink Flamingo: Thanks for the tip, I've been holding my finger on the computer screen at the spot where I last clicked!

Thanks so much!!!

Today I watched my coordinates on the bar & I won!!! I'll have to wait until tomorrows e-mail to know how many points!

Thanks again!!!

You know, I looked today when I did Milehunter, but I didn't see any coordinates! Am I blind? Where are they exactly? Thanks.

I have not noticed the latitude/longitude yet. But is it worth it? I have won Milehunter 3 times this past week for 3 points each. Anyone gotten more points? Lucky 7 takes half the time and if I get a quick pick, usually match at least 1 number. Janis

Buzz 5984,
"is it worth it?" That depends on how you look at it. I have played it everyday since it started, and only twice have I lost. I have won between 3 and 10 points, probably averaging out to about 4 1/2 or 5. I don't think it takes any longer than it would take to click back and forth for 4 or 5 points in Clickfix. But the real reason I still do it is I get bored to death with Clickfix, and this is a lot more interesting, also somewhat educational! I usually do it about halfway through all my clicking, just to give myself a break.
;)
PS- I still can't find the coordinates, I don't think they are there on my computer!

The coordinates show up on the task bar on the left-hand side of the screen. They'll show up as X=___ Y=___ (the blanks would be replaced by the numbers of the coordinates). I didn't even realize what they were at first!

I found the coordinates (they are at the bottom of your screen where you can check to see how much of an Internet page has loaded), but I have not been able to win once on Milehunter. Can anyone help me figure it out? Thanks!

I'm not sure what you're getting stuck on, the location on the map or the questions? First, the location must be VERY precise. I usually hold my finger on the screen where I clicked, sometimes two fingers at the last two spots I clicked, so if it says " a little to the East" and I go east, then "a little to the West", I know it is somewhere between my two fingers. Not very scientific, but I can't find the coordinates and this method works! By the way, don't believe when it says "a little" or "almost, but not quite". I have found that the actual spot may be quite a distance east, west or whatever. I always start smack dab in the middle of the map, then move halfway in the direction it says. Usually by the end of 5 turns and the first set of questions I have at least narrowed it down to a few square boxes. If it's the questions you are getting stuck on, I keep a big Websters Dictionary at the computer. Believe it or not, I have found most of the answers right there in the dictionary! As for their 2 help tools (what is it, Brittanica and Google? LOL, I probably got that all wrong) they are more frustrating than anything. They only give you a little blurb about any topic, and then suggest that you sign up for their paid memberships to get more info!! Yes, this game is a pain, but still I do it. It gets me away from Clickfix for a little while. Sorry so long, hope this helped. Good luck! BTW, congratulations on poohbaby! ;)
