Mild version of Mission space question

Hi all I just found out Epcot has added a Milder version of Mission Space. The little boy who sadly died on the original passed 1 week before we went last time so being I had a 7 year old we sheared clear of it. We are heading down in September and I am just wondering if anyone had been on it and what you think of it. Is it mild enogh for a 9 year old?
Would you try it or stay away. She has been on Magic mountain,big thunder mountain,soaring,primival twrile and loved them all.

I've been on the milder version, and it's not anywhere as extreme as the spinning version. But it still has some bumps and thrills.

Your 9-year old shouldn't have any problem, especially if she likes the other thrill rides.

My 8yo rode it in March and loved it. DH went with him and said it was fine.

I still elected to sit it out. Just not a fan of rides.

We did the milder version and our DS 6 really loved it - so much so that we had to do it again.......and again..........and again by which time the rest of us had had enough!
