Mike & Sulley Sightings?

Is it true that we can see Mike and Sulley at MGM? If so, where besides in the parade?

Last summer they were out by the ABC Commissionary right across from the dining room near a garage-like door. Only one was out at a time. Mike did not sign autographs. He only oculd pose for pics.

You can see Mike and Sully I think along the same walkway as the ABC Commesary (sp?), across from it. We were coming up from the Sci-Fi Diner, and they came out of what looks like a big garage door on the right. Look for the yellow Scream catchers, those are laying around where the line should be.

We happened to be at the right place at the right time, because it was not listed in the brochure. Maybe they want to be hidden? LOL.

Same place for us too. We saw them at the garage, if I recall they used stampers.

I am so glad I read this thread...My son has been asking about Mike and Sulley since he knows we leave in August, so I will be on the lookout for them at these places!

Right across from the ABC Comissary in a garage with the Monsters Inc logo on it. We were there two weeks ago and my Daughter got a picture with both Mike and Sulley at the same time.

...Now if only we could convince Disney to make a character meal with these guys and with the Toy Story guys! Then we'd REALLY be in heaven.

DH and I found Mike & Sully on our March trip.

Guest services should be able to tell you when Mike and Sully will be out. The costumes are incredibly hot. They don't leave the covered "garage" area where you can meet them, and there will often be large fans blowing on them the entire time. So, they will be for VERY limited periods of time.

Last January they were opening the door just as we approached with our son. We snapped a few photos and decided to grab lunch at the Commissary. We sat at one of the outdoor tables so we could watch others visiting with M&S. Before we were done with our lunch, they were gone. Couldn't have been more than 20 minutes total.

If i recall correctly, mike and sulley don't use stampers. Mike's arms are just plastic and are super thin, so no "real" arm is inside. Sulley's arms reach down to his knees or so, and again i don't think the "real" hand could reach far enough to use a stamper...

but i might be wrong..

You can see them by the ABC commidsary. You'll see a grey gate with Monsters Inc on it. I'm not sure what times they are out, but I have seen them a few times.
