I am probably one of the only people on the planet who found the trigger and stopped getting migraines. I started getting migraines at age 14. Some years were worse than others, but in my 30's, I was getting two a week! I can't explain how I found this out, but my migraines were caused by a chiropratic issue - basically turning my neck too far over to the right and looking downward was doing it! That simple movement would cause the migraine. Before when I was younger, my doc was trying to get me on Imitrex but I refused to take it as it did nothing for me, and was too expensive anyways (I have minimal health insurance).
But since I figured out my migraines were caused by moving my neck into a certain position, I haven't had ONE migraine.
I am very careful about my posture, and I won't put alot of weight on my shoulders (like a heavy backpack). Sometimes I still can't believe I am free of this burden. What an incredible difference to live your life without fearing a migraine every single day.
Right now, I haven't had a migraine since November 2004.
