My dads job might relocate to america and it can be either boston, chicago or dallas!! they have yet to decide if has yet to move but he has told me that we might unless someone else can go!! i really dont want to go as this is my home with all my friends are. i will have to make new friends and go to complete different ways of schooling.

the only other option is i stay here with my granparents and my mom and dad go and i go and see them every half term and when ever my school will let me have days off.

yeh i am but i really dont want to go as i have just done my gcse and looking forward to going back to six form in september with all my friends. at the moment i would wanna stay here!!!

I'd go to Dallas in a heartbeat. My cousin used to live in Texas and loved it. Boston and Chicago sound good too. Hey can i go instead?

Well i hope you make the right decision for you.

if you move to boston, as natives how they say 'park the car in harvard yard'.

it comes out like ' pahk teh cah in hahvahd yahd'.

my dad had a phone call this morning and its between dallas and chicago. at the moment i am staying here with my grandparents and my mom and dad going out. my dad work have said if i do stay the will pay for flights out so i can go and see them. if i do stay here i am going to apply for one of the university in dallas or chicago in 2 years time.

Double that.

I'd be really excited and up for moving to America. It's somewhere different, and living in different cultures make you a more well-rounded person. I do understand that you don't wanna leave youe friends and stuff though.

Hope it all works out for the best :thumbsup2

Come to Boston ;)

Cuz I live like, an hour away from there.

difficult choice. The british and american school systems are different!! i am taking my GCSE's at the moment, well im in year 10, and if i had to mov eit would be really hard!

If i were you i would stay until you have finished sixth form then you can go off to america and join your parents. If you are thinking about goin to uni then you can go over there, not the same as oxford or cambridge tho! lol

You coould always stay with your grandparents then after sixth form you have the opportunity to buy your own house, so could stay in england that way.

whatever you decide, good luck! If you go, it will be completely different, no more of "British Weather".

lol

:lmao: Not funny but that is the exact same way it is in Cincinnati. Always a shooting downtown.

Umm, yeah, you're right.
But it's been worse here in Chicago.
I always walk to school and nothing ever happens though.
I like it here.

I'm probably the only person in my town without a Boston accent. haha.

But moving is hard, I'm sure if you move you'll make new friends in a heartbeat.

I would want to move to Chicago because thats where my best friend lives. I would die to live in England lol. Plus America and England are quite different in alot of ways like schools, we have no Queen or Prime Minister but a President. Little things like that but all and all if you've lived in England all your life I probally would go to America plus you will be with your parents.
