Midlife Crisis

Well I gave in to my midlife crisis today. My company car lease was up and they are only giving an alowance. So I bought a new car today. I know its not very practical. But its just me and my son living at home and we have an old explorer for boat towing and other practical stuff.

Very cool. Mine is a Mustang GT. Unfortunately I share it sometimes with dh whose crises is worst then mine and comes with driving very fast. We had a fight about it tonight on our way to my brothers.

I had an Eclipse. We also had a Mitsubishi truck once and both of them never broke and were great vehicles for us. Enjoy your new baby!

Thanks for all the thoughts. Tiggeroo! That shelby looks sooo nice. I thought about a mustang but I really wanted better milage. The 5spd elclipse that I bought will get 24 and 30 (Ihope). The mustang was going to be in the teens and twenties. I I hope to pick it up today!!

we just calculated our mileage last night after some garage work on the mustang. We are getting 22mpg highway. I can do this because I live on an island, walk to work and rarely do alot of traveling. If I get desperate because i'm taking a long trip i swap with my dd for her cavalier.
I love the eclipse. I saw one on the road yesterday and told dh how cool I thought it was.
If you've been a parent carting kids around in the mini-van or suv it feels so good to drive something just for fun. But that Shelby's price is just insane. Have fun.
