Midge Flies?

Hi all,
Recently heard through a different medium that there is a serious Midge Fly problem in WDW currently. They are akin to mosquitoes, but do not bite. Apparently they have exterminators spraying the resorts with lakes/standing water to keep them at bay. Obviously, I know that bugs happen, even in Disney World! However, they are saying this is a pretty big issue ATM. The person I heard from was staying at Pop, and we are staying at CSR. Has anyone else experienced this? Just wondering since I haven't really noticed anything like this in the past.

We checked out March 31 and didn't notice anything. I even spent some time in a hammock by the water at CSR and didn't notice any unusual bugs.

Just hope you won't be there during love bug season.

Live in Windermere and I'm a CM. I haven't really seen anything out of the ordinary. Love bugs are the worst
