Middle of February

Hey,

What's the weather like in the middle of February? Will the kids make use of a hotel with a waterpark?????

Possibly. My pictures from the last two weeks of February 2016 (passholder and weekly visitor) show us dressed mostly dressed in short sleeves and shorts, even one when we let the kid get drenched in the splash pad at CA.

On the other hand, it's been a cold and wet winter, so you who knows what you'll get.

My guess is not this year. Last February was much warmer than the forecast I'm seeing so far. We went Super Bowl weekend last year and it was in the 80's, this year it looks like we'll be lucky to see 70.

The weather has been so crazy this winter nationwide that it's hard to say. I know a couple years ago it was quite hot for Feb (like 90s), doubt that'll happen. We are going the 3rd week, coming from WA, I'm just hoping for sunshine!

We went last Feb and it was warm. We (DD and I) wore shorts most of the time, changed into capris for nights. We did see lots of people in the pool of our hotel (Tropicana), but we did not use it since we took a really short trip that time.

We are coming mid February as well. Our weather just went from -8 to 10degrees almost overnight. I wore shorts and a hoodie today and it was glorious even in the torrential rain we have had nonstop for 2 days I'm hoping we get to use the pool!!!

It is hard to predict the weather, lately we have had beautiful day in the 70's like Sunday, then cold and rain now.

I usually answer the question to pack the suits, as they don't take up to much room, and most pools and Hot Tubs are heated year round in Southern California Lodging, so you don't see too many people sun bathing (but it does happen), but more folks on the lounge chairs in "clothes" relaxing to stay warm.

But the Water Park is a bit different, as the water in those features are not heated. (Exception would be a slide, which usually ends up in a heated pool). So how much more is the Hotel with a Waterpark?
