Hi all , considering the week of 8/13 or 8/20 for 6 nights. Pretty sure the lowest tier magic blackouts will start to be lifted as we progress through those weeks. Question is will you see any significant differences between those weeks with crowds? The first week prob will still have more summer tourists vs locals so what’s the difference? Is it true as well that the locals are less likely to purchase Genie+ meaning better access to rides for us since we will? Any feedback welcome thanks !

Following. As we are looking at the same time frame. We could do week beginning 8/13 or 8/27. Also doing 6 nights.

End of August is the time when we have most often visited DL as well as the 2 times that we visited WDW. For crowds, going as late as possible in August is best. Locals will not be blocked, but so many schools are already back in session so less people in parks. So OP, go with 8/20, and Bovril82, 8/27 should be great.

I don't know about Genie+ and locals, but I would guess that they purchase it less often because the cost is very high when going to the parks often.

Thank you! That is exceptionally helpful!

We are hoping the fireworks will be shown a bit more often on weekdays for the 100th. But, I am guessing that's a pipedream!
