I have a deposit on a mid Oct stay at POR.

Like many, right now I am shut out of any free dining or room discount. Flights from the northeast are also way too high, but that is besides my point.

I know current offers are due to expire August 8.

Anyone know of what is to follow?

Thank you.

I'm thinking there will be a room only discount released early to mid August for those dates I've been watching too. historically August is when they release the discounts for October. I just check the disney site once a day.

Should be shortly after August 8. However POFQ & POR seem to have limited availbility for the week I'm going, 10/18 - 10/25. I think many people have switched from the Poly and Wilderness Lodge becasue of construction and pool rehabs. There may very limited discounts for October.

Late fall discounts were released today. I really lucked out and was able to save a whopping $60 off my upcoming stay at POFQ. I can now buy a few extra Mickey bars and popcorn! :faint:

Was just gonna post this. Was also able to apply to POFQ for Oct 21-28 on a king bed. Not bad savings. I'll take it.

$60 sounds low. It was around $300 for me for 7 nights

60.00 sounds super low. I know disney math doesn't always add up.

We are going the beginning of Oct and SS and CS were the only two resorts that had availability during our dates. I have a BB for FD at POR but wanted to run the math to make sure we couldn't get it cheaper since we have AP's and don't need the 2 day tickets. I was surprised and disappointed at the lack of options for that first week.
