I'm thinking about a last minute trip for Nov. 13-20. What is the weather like this time of year? I've never been there in November. Also, would the crowds be light?

We were there Thanksgiving week last year. The weather was nice, a couple of day it was warm enough to swim. We ended up buying jackets for the kids Thansgiving night, so bring them and make sure to watch the weather reports. Lines were not bad until Wednesday. We did the early entry parks then hopped when it started to get crowded. The Christmas trees are beautiful. Check out the Grand Floridian if you have the time. The tree is huge and the gingerbread house is really cool.

We were there 11-17 of November 2002.

Crowds were nonexistant, which I think was partially due to time of year and partially still the effects of 9/11.

It was really a great time to go. A little chilly some days for the pool, but the weather was WONDERFUL for the parks. I say go for it! I think the highs were right around 79-80 for most of our days.

We just got back, and I think next time we will go in November as the weather was much nicer.

I need to know this too,,,thanks for asking this question. :wave2:

I went around this time last year (the week before Thanksgiving). Early in the week, the crowds were very manageable. Some rides at MK had long lines during the busy times of day, but all the other parks had very little wait for anything. Great time to go.

Weather is unpredictable. In the 8 days we were there, we only had 1 brief shower. The weather for a couple days was in the high 80s, but most days it was in the mid 70s. It would get chilly in the evening and early morning (low 50s and 60s). For us, a wind breaker or fleece jacket usually fit the bill.

So it could be hot or cool. Bring clothes that you can layer easily.

Oh yeah, the temps I mentioned are in Fahrenheit. Florida might get hot, but 80c might be a little too hot :cool2:

We've been to WDW a couple times during the first week of November and the weather was great both times! :sunny:

We wore shorts/t-shirts the whole time. Lows were mid 60's and highs were low-mid 80's.

We were last in WDW during the second week of November 2003. Temps were 70's into the mid-80's. One day was cloudy with drizzle, another had off and on rain during the morning and then sun in the afternoon. The other five days were sunny (six if you count the day we left).

The crowds were small although the "buzz" seems to be that crowd levels are up this Fall. We are going 11/4 to 11/12 this year, I'll report back when we're home.
