Mid-May or early March?

I'm thinking about the first week of March or the middle of May in 2012. We've got some other trips planned but I'm having a hard time deciding on this one. I figure that the middle of May would be a slow time, should be after spring break and before schools are out, but could be a bit warm.

March, weather probably could go either way, no idea about crowds.

Can you give a brother some help!?!

well, March is spring break for a lot of colleges, including mine. I have been then, in this past March. I always go the second week into May, that is my favorite time to go. but that is just me!:)

Personally, May is one of my favorite months to go! I've gone multiple times in May...including this past May. The crowds are very manageable in mid May since a lot of kids are still in school. The weather is also usually hot, but not as hot as July/August. Actually, the weather was beautiful last month. It was low 80's pretty much everyday that we were there. It even got a little chilly on some nights, so we needed pants and long sleeve shirts.

This I can definitely help with - went this past Mar. 1-7 and also the second week in May - Pleeeeease listen - go in May for sure! March was busy, busy busy and we went before our spring break, but there are lots of different breaks the whole month. It was also too cool for swimming and wore jackets every night. May was beautiful, perfect actually. No humidity, warm enough for pool time every day and shorts. Nights were lovely and warm. Didn't rain at all. And it wasn't busy either. We walked around Epcot one afternoon and the World Showcase was practically empty. We all agreed we would go back in May without question. :thumbsup2

Mid-May should be Flower and Garden time at Epcot -- you would have great photo opps - it's loverly (and cute and fun). It could be hot, but "cope-able."

We've gone in early March (when Easter was not early) and the crowds were not bad. The weather was wild though. The first day was nice, then we had a cold spell and had to put on our coats for a few days, then back to nice before we left. I would go again that time of year if we were free to do so. By the second week in March you are well into Spring Break and the crowds jump considerably.

I went both of those times this year for a week each trip.

March = crowded and miserable.

May = light crowds and delightful.

This is the easiest question I have ever been asked. Trust me. Go in May.

My answer would be March! We only go to Florida from late October to the end of April. More like the middle of April, actually. The rest of the year is just way too hot for us to enjoy it.

I would go in May before F&G closer. I've had much nicer weather in May than in March.

We have done both March and May several times. Crowds in March can definitely be crazy and the weather unpredictable, and as long as you go early in May, you should have decent weather. Our May trips have always been around Mother's Day, and have been in the 80-90's in temps.

If you do May, I'd suggest doing early May to get in on the end of the Flower and Garden festival. We find the March times to be a bit early for all the full effect of the F&G displays.
