Okay so with when we really want to go being Peak Season and not being able to find airfare can you give me an idea if mid May/early June (Reg Season) would be less crowded time in the parks, hotels and better all around. I am thinking of taking son out of school if we can find better airfare later. I know the rates drop the day we come back in April so hotel prices will be better

We have been in mid-May and are returning again this May for Star Wars week. We didn't have huge crowds, especially during the week days. We went to MGM on Mother's Day and it was fairly crowded, but this could have been because it was early entry. With all the spring breaks that occur in April, I would imagine mid-May would be a lot better for crowds.

We were in Orlando around May 17th-June 7 of 2002. It was fabulous the first week (both crowd and weather wise), especially Sunday-Friday. The closer it got to Memorial Day, the more crowded it became. Crowds went down after the holiday, but the heat and humidity really got me.

I enjoyed our Thanksgiving and Easter holidays much more, by always arriving early in the am, and using fastpasses alot. You just have to have a plan.
