Mid June weather

We typically travel to WDW in March. Days start of cool. Afternoons are warm and we end up with light sweaters for fireworks. We are going in June this year. I've never been to Florida this time of year. What is weather typically like? Weather channel said lots of rain. Just want to make sure I'm packing appropriately!

ok the last poster said June is toasty. No it's not toasty, it's hot! I live here and June can be one of the hotter months to be here. The summer afternoon T-storms really don't get cranking until later in June so if you are here the first part of the month, prepare for hot. Like close to 90 everyday. It's humid too so be warned. The evenings are in the mid to high 70's but on the warmer side due to the humidity starting to crank up. I doubt you'll need sweaters for anything other than maybe a restaurant.
Just remember to drink more water than normal and to try to do indoor attractions in the late afternoon. If we do get afternoon T-storms, they usually don't last long (maybe 30 min or so) and they do help cool things down.
