Mid June 2017 or Mid August 2017?

I'm sure many of you have seen the announcement that Avatarland is coming to AK Summer 2017. We were originally planning (1 adult 1 16 year old) to go June 2017 to Disney, 4 nights 5 days, sometime between June 13th and June 19th (days were not exactly set yet). With this announcement, we are assuming that "Summer 2017" does not mean June and is more likely July or August, and we would love to be there for this opening. If we went in August we would most likely go sometime between August 13th and 23rd. What are the crowds like in mid-August in comparison to June? We usually go early summer and have not been in August to see what conditions are like. Thank you!
