Our flight arrives at 9:30, this is in mid May on a Saturday. Will plan our FP+ for 1 pm or later. Are we better off going to Epcot or DHS? Only must do's at Epcot are Soarin' and TT. At DHS it's SDD, TSMM, RnRC and TOT. I am aware we can't FP all due to the tiers. Also aware of Flower and Garden at Epcot. Currently leaning towards Epcot to FP Soarin' and maybe a couple "throw aways" and single ride TT.

Historically, which is open later? If both are equal, then I'd choose Epcot - ease into the trip, get some good food. HS may still be crowded overall ( still to be seen ) so I would plan a whole day there.

I agree with @Wild4Walt. Epcot works well for us arriving part way through the day because much of what we enjoy is walking around World Showcase, getting some good food, browsing shops and taking in some of the live entertainment. I would plan a HS day where we could be there in the morning before crowds had peaked.

Thanks! This is what I'm leaning towards unless we can score a SDD FP+. I forgot to add we do have hoppers, which gives us more flexibilty as well.

We tend to do Epcot on arrival day if we are not getting in early. Epcot we find to be the easiest to get additional tier 1 FP's for and the tier 2 are either walk on or very easy to get FP's for anytime.
