Mid day Resort Break-How long?

Using Buses at AllStarMusic and want to do rope drop at Hollywoodstudios. Wanting to take a mid day break and go back to resort but not sure how long it will take us to get there and back and have a rest at the resort. Two adults no kids

We usually leave around 12-12:30 and return to the parks around 4-5. We usually go to the pool for an hour or two. It really is nice to get away from the crowds, heat and chaos of the parks.

Bus pickup at the parks mid-day is less frequent than park open or closed. They are supposed to run every 20 mins but I know if the past we waited at least 30 mins for a bus pickup at Epcot mid-day.

I suggest that you use Uber/Lyft. You'll shave some time off of your break that way...maybe 30 min. to an hour.

Whenever I do a mid day park break using Disney transportation I always plan on 5 hours from the time I walk out of the park until the time I will be walking back in a park.

I usually plan on about an hour from walking out of the park entrance to arriving at the resort bus stop, or vice versa on the return trip. Sometimes, if the bus pulls up just as we arrive at the pickup spot, it’s less than that, but the buses don’t run on a tight enough schedule to count on it.
