Mid August??

Can anyone tell me what the weather and crowds are like in mid August? It appears this may be the only time we can visit this year. Just curious..won't change my mind about going, cause even a hot, wet, busy DW is better than no DW at all!

The weather is extremely hot and relentlessly humid, with regular afternoon thunderstorms which last anywhere from 15 minutes to a couple of hours but do nothing to cool things down.

Crowds will drop off substantially starting the week of the 14th as many schools open that week. The last two weeks of August are the least crowded weeks of the summer.

Great..so the weather is going to be fun huh? Oh well..guess i'll just make sure we take a lot of breaks at the pool!
