Mid April?

I just booked a trip for April 2013 and am stupid excited. Only my 3rd time to DLR, once when I was 8, and once 3 years ago when my mil took our family for Christmas (best Christmas present ever!).

Anyway, I have a couple of questions about going in April. How are the crowds? Also, what is the weather like? If it's anything like home, you never know what you're going to get, but maybe SoCal is more predictable?

Oh, and we're thinking of telling our boys on April Fools Day. "Guess what guys? We're going to Disneyland tomorrow! April Fools! We're actually going in 2 weeks!" I don't know if I can keep it a secret that long, though.

crowds could be pretty busy because of spring break. Depends how late into April you go.

weather should be nice. It can rain but usually not that much in April (I think odds are in your favor) and the temps are usually very nice.

Just make sure you have a good plan and you should have a great time. I've been on a very busy day before (50th anniversary in 05 without a plan even) and while it effected our ability to do some rides we still had a great time and there were plenty of fun things to do that the crowds didn't make impossible.

So even if you end up there during a busy time you can do and see everything you want as long as you plan it right.
