Mid-April or Late June 2006?????

cannot decide when to go ...... When is it least crowded?? help!!! our Spring break this year is April 11-24 and will be about the same next year or we can go anytime june 17-30.

I think both times will be more crowded than any off time. Mid April you have spring breaks but at the end of June you have families whose kids are out of school. I would pick April since it will not be as hot. I think crowds may be around the same.

I tend to agree with MrsjHenry. I'd go in April. It will be so plan accordingly. Expect the worst and you may experience the best! The kids are on spring break (I wish I was back in school; February and April breaks???) here in the northeast. The colleges let out in May so like MrsjHenry states the families will start arriving in June. Any how, have a great time, make the most of it and have a magical time! I found out they only let 200,000 people into the parks at any one time if that makes you feel better (At least that's what a CM told us about Magic Kingdom)

The past three years we have been going at the end of June. It is crowded but not unbearable. We have always just planned our schedule very carefully. We make sure we hit the parks first thing in the morning, back to resort for rest and swim in the afternoon, then maybe a different park in the evening. We have used these boards to determine the least crowded parks on each day of the week and that has been very helpful!

If you aren't going the week before or after Easter, mid-April would be much more desirable. Not just for the crowds, but it won't be so hot and humid. I've been twice in late June, and the humidity was unbearable. I'm used to hot weather and some humidity, but it's no fun at Disney World. We just returned from our spring break trip and couldn't believe how nice the weather was. I think in mid-April it would be perfect.
