Mid afternoon arrival

Not sure what time to arrive?!?!?! We are starting out on a tuesday at US/IOA. We have 2 day passes with unlimited express passes so hopefully we can get a lot done on day 1. For DW I was thinking arrive later in day check in then go over to MK for some night rides and fireworks and night time parade if they still have it. I have a DS 4 and a DD 6 so they will dictate a lot of what happens. I dont want to get burnt out on day 1 of DW but want to make sure we make the most of our time. What time should be look at leaving US/IOA on day 2 to still have an enjoyable evening at MK? Thursday I am think about Epcot at RD then relax and back to MK in evening. Friday we are doing HS for Star Wars wknd and fantasmic and Saturday we are back at MK all day since it was only day we could get an A&E FP. Now if SDMT opens I am sure the FP there will dictate a lot of our travel plans but we will play that by ear. Any thoughts or guidance would be appreciated.

When are you traveling? Part of the answer to your question will be determined by how late MK is opened on the day you are asking about. It also depends on how late you you want to keep your young children up on that night.

Arriving memorial day afternoon/evening at hard rock(pool and city walk night.) The following 2 days there then a Wednesday check in at CBR. Thurs-Sun we are good just unsure what to do Wednesday. Part of me wants to change passes to 4 day from 5 and maximize US time.

On that Wednesday MK is actually the recommended park according to easywdw.com Out of all of your days there that is the best day to visit MK according to the crowd calendar at easywdw.com.

With kids your age I would try to get to MK as early as is comfortably possible as that is probably the park they would enjoy the most.
