Microwaves and internet at WL

Sorry! The WL FAQ confused the pants off of me, and I couldn't find this info! Do the rooms have microwaves? Can you request one? Is there a fee? Also, where can I check my e-mail, hopefully for free?

I think you can request a Microwave in the WL rooms but I don't think every room has one. Don't think there is any "free" internet access on Disney property.

We have requested, and gotten, nukers in our WL rooms twice. It was no problem, really, to get them. They do not come with the room, but are delivered upon request, if available. There is no charge for these.

WL has in-room high-speed internet for $9.95 for a 24-hour period.

No free internet at WL.

The rooms at VWL all have microwaves, but the WL rooms do not. Housekeeping has some, but not many. You can request one, but there's no guarantee that you'll get it. There is a microwave available for guests to use at Roaring Forks, though.

Thanks, everyone! I'll request a nuke. I really don't want to check my e-mail while I'm at the World anyway, and what a wonderful excuse I have to not do it! "Well, gee, it costs $9.95 per day, ,and I AM on vacation . . ."

If you have access to a local dial up number, local calls from the room are now free. I used my laptop to check email a couple times during my trip last month and it was free to do it that way.
