My new favorite kichen toy is a microwave chip maker :). So far I've made regular potato, apple, sweet potato, and chile lime flavored potato:goodvibes.
Best part is no oil is involved:thumbsup2

Mmmm tell me more! Where did you get it? I love sweet potato chips.

Pampered Chef sells a kit- you have to experiment a bit until you find the right amount of time that works for your microwave, The potato chips come out a little bit like kettle chips.

They have several on Amazon.com

I thought about getting one and just decided to try it myself with just a pie plate and it worked fine.

Do you just slice the potato thin and salt it and microwave? I would love to try this.

It came with a slicer that slices them really thin. You have to blot most of the moisture out, then season them and put them on silicone trays in the microwave,
