Looking for thoughts on those have been to the Mickey's very merry Xmas arty. We have been to the halloween event and wondering if the cost is justifiable since we are going to be at WdW anyways from the 12/17 to the 27 or so.

Thanks

Going those dates, no I don't think it's worth it. You'll get all or most of what you see at the party, the rest of the time you're there.

We're going because it's our only day in Disney and we're getting in for 8 hours about $15-20 cheaper than a one day ticket.

I say no also. You should be able to see the Christmas Parade during the day (and I like it better in the daylight). Along with the few other special shows they usually run. Of course it will all be decorated. I used to love going to MVMCP but I will no longer justify the price (I quit at around $42 actually).

I love the halloween but we still skip it now a days. If you had a girl that loved princesses and wanted the characters then I might think ever so slightly different, but I think I would still pass.

Coin toss.

I'd say yes because I LOVE the lower lines, the parade, the fireworks and the atmosphere; however if you're going to be there that long...maybe not.

I did love it and plan to use it as a tool my next trip since it's only going to be a few days long to get to ride a bunch of rides in a short time. I'd skip the Story time with Belle (sucked), I'd skip the cookies/cider, I would NOT miss the parade or the fireworkds.

Good luch with your trip and happy planning.

No it's definitely not worth it. You can see a lot of the the things they have at the party during regular park hours.

The Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party...DEFINITELY worth the money..
MVMCP..nope..not at all!

I HAVE TO DISAGREE!

My husband and I go to the MVMCP every year and use it as a date night out while my parents watch our 2 DD. The crowds are less and the lines short to non-existant. The special shows and music are neat and the cookies (and this past year apples) and hot chocolate are fun. The parade is nice too. I think it is a great time!

Disney...esp the MK....is getting to be so crowded in December that I think it is a nice change of pace and we get to do things that we may not get to during regular park hours.:santa:

My kids loved the Christmas Party. It's not something that we have repeated yet, but would if the timing was right. I have a friend who doesn't have children but her & her husband go everytime that are there while it's going on & love it. I recommend it

We went last year and I'd say it say it wasn't worht it and my DD was free. I'd maybe try it again in 3 or 4 years when my DD is older. She was tuckered and missed the parade. I'm depating going to the Halloween Party this year.

i say YES, YES and YES. We have been to it 2x and LOVE it. THe atmosphere is so much fun. I would do it again.

I say no - not worth it. As everyone else has mentioned, you see the same things during the day. Now if I lived in FL and did not have an AP, I would consider it, as it has a lower price than a one-day ticket and you can enter MK as early as 4:00 p.m.

I'm also wondering if it is worth it - can you see the Holiday Wishes and parade any other night? Or only at the party?
