We'll be in WDW late Nov./early Dec.

Trying to decide whether or not to book MVMCP. Soooo worth it or not? :confused3

Will there be a huge crowd Thurs Nov 30?

We've never been down for the Holidays, but had debated the same issue. We finally decided to get tickets, since who knows when we'll get down for the Holidays again.
Based on other's information, they recommended getting tickets during the weekdays as the weekends are more crowded.

Enjoy!

From my experience, that week should be pretty low crowds, with the crowds picking up that following weekend, week through Christmas.

We went to the party last year and had a fabulous time. We picked the week after the week you are choosing and it was really not crowded at all. We walked right onto the rides we wanted. There was lots of extra activities to do - dance party, shows, parades, fireworks. Those all got crowded because everyone gathers for them. You have to plan that part out so you can make sure you see everything. They also pass out cookies and cocoa.

It truly was very magical and a great way to start our holiday season. We have younger kids and a preteen and they all loved it. We actually are planning to go again this year if everything works out. I would really recommend it since you are attending during a less crowded time. If you go closer to Christmas, I guess it can get really crowded and become a lot less pleasant.

Bumping this up 'cause I would like some info also. We would be there for the first night. Nov. 13?

Any suggestions?

yes, yes, yes well worth the price. The parade alone is worth the price imho. this is a great nite really puts you in the holiday mood. the free cookies and hot chocolate are great.

My suggestion is get plenty of rest during the day. Have ADRs at Liberty Tree Tavern for 5:45 (all rides close between 6 to 7 to clear park of day visitors) and then get ready for some terrific shows, great fireworks and a wonderful parade.

Also if you dont visit a park during the day, Great day to visit the spa or resort hop to see all the different decorations. then you can save a few bucks on a park ticket for that day as you don't have to show your regular park entrance pass to get into the party - just your party ticket.

The only day we would be able to go is Friday December 1.

Has anyone been on a Friday night, in early December and was it terribly crowded?

Will the tickets sell out quickly for this time period?

I'm thinking this might be a good time for DH to join me in the park (he's a golfer and not a Disney fan) for a fun evening and not have the full ticket cost.

Thank you so much for your helpful responses! :thumbsup2

I just booked MVMCP for Nov 30 :teeth:

Hey Buffalogirl - Nov 30 is the night we are planning to attend too! Maybe we'll see ya there!

By the way, it really is a lot of fun!!!

Have fun! We went last year and loved it!! We went on a Tuesday and it wasn't crowded at all. That's why we're trying MNSSHP this year! Enjoy :thumbsup2

Make sure you get your Free picture. If your going to be there you should go just think you can blow $60.00 at walmart on stuff you don't realy need.

I got the 'young man' opinion the other day and it was very positive! I work in a high tech field and there is a young, hip man (actually I think of him as a kid since he's about half my age) that sits by me. I mentioned we were going to MNSSHP and he told me how fantastic MVMCP is and how he and his girlfriend love to go to it. Which was good to hear since we're going to that too.

My DH and i will be there on Nov. 27th. It's our 24th anniv. party:

DD13 and I are going Nov 30 also!! DH, DD and I want to MNSSHP last year and it was a lot of fun and well worth it IMO (with the exception of it being a rainy evening). DD and I are going to WDW for 4 nights in late Nov for a girls only trip and I'm really looking forward to MVMCP. :goodvibes

I'm looking forward to seeing all my friends from the DIS boards on Nov 30. Thanks again for your helpful responses :wave2:
