Mickey's very merry christmas party

My family and I are going to WDW next Christmas. Actually the day after christmas through new years.

Does Mickey's very merry christmas party continue through new years or does it end on the 25th?

Last year was the first time they had MVMCP scheduled beyond the first two weeks of December. They do not have it during Christmas week. I think the last party last year was around 12/20.
