Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Tickets

yes - if you go to the DVC member site - well I though they were - but the only ticket discounts I am finding is for MNSSHP...

I will kept looking.

There was some kind of discount for certain nights last year -- I'm not sure if it was DVC or AP. Also, there's a substantial discount for getting your tickets ahead of time.

This was in the May Vacation Magic email update:

Magic Kingdom events offer discount
Members will enjoy a 10 percent discount this year on advance ticket purchases for select nights of Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

These special Walt Disney World events let Magic Kingdom Guests enjoy unique holiday experiences while visiting the Park's most popular attractions. Themed trick-or-treating trails and Main Street, U.S.A.® "snow" flurries are among the many unique offerings that have turned these "after hours" parties into cherished traditions for a growing number of families. (The trick-or-treating takes place at the Halloween events, while the "snow" falls on the Christmas parties. You probably figured that out, but we wanted to cover our bases here.)

Members may call Member Services now to purchase discounted tickets to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party events taking place on Sept. 15 and 22, and Oct. 2, 16, 17, 23 and 24. The discounted ticket price is $32.95 each plus tax for guests ages 10 or older and $25.95 each plus tax for children ages 3-9. (Note that you must purchase these tickets in advance through Member Services in order to get the discount, and the discount is valid for as many as six tickets for each Member ID card.) For more details about this Halloween celebration, including the schedule of non-discounted nights, visit www.disneyworld.com/halloween.

Looking ahead to the winter holidays, Members will enjoy a discount at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party events taking place on Nov. 13, 17 and 28, and Dec. 14. More details about this discount will be available soon.

Best wishes -

If you have an AP, you can already call and get the AP discount on the same nights as the DVC discount. I bought my discount tickets for December 14th about two weeks ago.

You may also want to call Member Services and see if they're already set up to sell tickets at the discount rate.

something strange is happening - the article price is $32.95 - but the website it send you to has $36.95

Is there any difference between the AP disc and the DVC disc for these tickets?

No the discount is for the same. Both are for only 4 dates of the party

but right now we don't know what the price for DVC members will be with MVMCP....

I am also waiting.

I bought my DVC discounted MVMCP tickets when they went on sale back in April. The adult price is $38.29 with tax and the child price is $29.77 with tax.

thanks very much for the responses, though it looks like we won't be able to qualify for a discount as we are only there 29th/30th Nov and 1st Dec and i don't think any of the nights qualify.

thanks again.

There are a few nights and only a few nights that we get a discount. I already got my tickets for the 30th (not a discount night).. I think like the 28th and 27th are discount nights.. but can't find the list anymore.

The DVC-discounted nights were listed in the email update that I copied in my post above.
