Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Impressions

Just looked at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party website. Curious to hear MVMCP veterans' thoughts about attending. I've considered attending, but always ended up thinking I could have more fun spending the admission money elsewhere at WDW. Why did you enjoy or not enjoy MVMCP?

My kids and I did MVMCP last year and we are doing it again this year. I loved the fireworks, the parades, the hot cocoa & cookies, Santa in a little booth on Main Street, the castle looked spectacular !!!!, the snow on Main Street, the Christmas carols, etc, etc, etc. If you enjoy Christmas at all, you should experience this event at least once. It really gets you in the mood for the holiday season !!!!!

I am taking my 2 kids and my mom on the 12th. I was going to sign up for Mousefest but I didn't think the kids would think it was too cool. Going to look into Mousefest 2009, though. Might be a tight squeeze since I am doing the Singles Trip in October too !!!

Have a blast at Mousefest !!!!!!!

i agree that you should try MVMCP at least once. i love everything xmas so this was a must when we went a few years ago. my favorites at the party were definitely the snow on main street and the parade/fireworks. i have heard others comment on the quicker ride lines but i was with my mom and we didn't do many rides.

MVMCP is a great way to get into the Holiday spirit IMO. They parade is great, characters with their holiday attire for pictures, hot chocolate and cookies and snow on Main St. I go to 2-3 MVMCP a year - just because I feel that way I don't miss any of the shows or anything - I think it is my favorite extra admission. Usually also they will let you in at 4:00-4:30 on your ticket so if you have a park ticket you could save a day, since you can be in the park for about 8 hours.

I love the MVMCP. I love the shorter lines and the snow on Main Street, but especially the Christmas shows and parade and fireworks.

but the shows and the parade is amazing, I was truely blown away by the quality of the Castle show last year, just amazing

We attended last year-the castle was awesome-the park was at full capacity-the pirate and princess party was practically empty

Last year was DH and mine first trip to WDW. We went to MVMCP and LOVE IT. I am a nut for the lights and sounds of Christmas. We go the week after Thanksgiving so it really gets me in the spirit of the holiday. We just got out ticket today for the party this year. I would recommend it highly. I only wish I could go every year.
