Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is an annual event that’s not to be missed. The Magic Kingdom closes to all but the ticket holders for this holiday party. The magic begins with “snow” falling on Main Street. As you enjoy your complimentary Christmas cookies with a steaming cup of hot cocoa, you’ll wonder if you’re still in Florida. There’s no mistaking that when you watch the incredible parade. With Gingerbread Men, Elves, Snowmen and the amazing Wooden Soldiers, you’ll be filled with holiday cheer as they accompany Mickey and friends on their nightly march along the parade route. The grand finale is an appearance by Santa himself.

With Christmas Carols in the air, special holiday themed entertainment, and a spectacular version of the Wishes fireworks themed to the evening’s festivities, you’ll experience an unforgettable evening. Of course, the attractions are open for your enjoyment. The party begins at 7:00 and ends at midnight. There are eleven dates to choose from starting with November 30.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Parade... is held daily and is the same show that is broadcast on Christmas morning.

It's okay to post under this thread about MVMCP in fact that's why I started it!Then we can find all the Christmas things in one place!!

Please,if you could, start posting your MVMCP questions,tips,... whatever you'd like to ask/share about the parties under this thread.

Thanks!

WOW!! Thanks for posting that information. I am going to try to go on Nov. 27, or 28 or 30, or Dec. 1. or maybe all 4, heehee. So many options!! I am sooo excited!! First time, never done it, can't wait! Watch out Minnie, cause Mickey here I come! :)

any word on if AP holders can get a deal on the price on select dates like there was last year.

Do people dress up in Christmas attire for the party? I am still on the fence about paying even more for the party. This is the first time we will be there for Christmas and maybe the only time. 12/15/06 to 12/19/06 Looking at going 12/18/06. DD will be 5. Help me decide. THX!

Have to say love the all weekday choices looks like 12-19 for us.

Sorry never saw the other thread....

Tuesday, December 12th for us!! It will be our first time going at the holiday season. I'm so EXCITED!!! (Is it time yet???? :teeth: ) I've already ordered the Holiday snowglobe sweatshirts from the Disneystore (online) for us to wear! :cool1:

Are tickets available for purchase yet?

We are hoping to go Dec 13-20! Just waiting for the 7 month window to book a DVC studio.

Dang... they are real.

Not too happy about the fact that only one night when we are there will be free of the christmas party. We like MVMCP, but we also like an evening in the MK that is more "normal".

I am looking at early Dedember for mine. What days would people say are better- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (if there are any), or Thursday?

No wednesdays. Really any of them should be fine as long as it's not a friday (or the last day, which also happens to be a friday).

Mon, Tues or Wed usually arent' too bad...thurs through sunday tend to be more crowded....I think we are aiming for 4, 5,or 7....I'm trying for a ressie at Chef's Victoria and Albert if I get lucky that will determine our MVMCP ticket.

What??? No Sunday after Thanksgiving?? We were planning on going to the Sunday night (now nonexistent) party. Will be onsite until Monday afternoon. Bummer! I wonder if I can add a day to my air travel? and resort room?

Time to scramble.

This will be my mom's and I's first time going to MVMCP and going to Disney World in the month of Dec.!!!!!

From the dates it looks like, Dec.7 will work for us the best to go to the party! :cool1:

When do the tickets go on sale?

Last year they went on sale the end of April. So it should be soon.

I'm still skeptical about the parties that are BEFORE Thanksgiving so I can't wait for Disney to sell the tickets so we'll know for sure.

I also hope there are AP discounts on select nights again.
