Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Central 2005

Someone posted that CM's are not supposed to send MVMCP AP discounted tickets in the mail for the fact that you cannot prove over the phone that you actually have an AP in your posession. In theory someone with out an AP could call and get the discount and have the tickets mailed to them.

This is also what we were told by CRO. We don't have our AP's yet (will buy them closer to our trip), but got the AP rate for our MVMCP tickets on Dec 1. We will need to pick them up at Guest Relations when we arrive.

How many of you all go to MVMCP twice and is it worth it to pay to go twice? I am strongly thinking of going on another evening. Will we get to see it all if we only go one night?

We are so we can allow a night for rides and such and another for shows and parade. But ssshhhhh, its a secret....... :earboy2:

I have read that Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is not too crowded since they only allow a limited number of people in. However, how are the crowds right before Chirstmas? We have been in Sept. and hardly anyone there. I know that it gets very crowded between Christmas and New Years. We plan to be at Disney World the week of 19th - 23rd. Do most people wait until after Christmas??

That is what I was told too. I did get my MNSSHP tickets with an AP discount though. I haven't even bought my AP yet but they didn't care. I got the discount and they were mailed to me. I think they caught on in time for the MVMCP ones though as I have to pick those up at Guest Services.

I recently posted some questions regarding this that never got answered. I'm hoping to do Country Bears and the show at the Galaxy Palace during the day so we don't feel so rushed during MVMCP. Can anyone help?.........

Country Bear Jamboree puts on a special holiday celebration you don't want to miss! (Usually runs throughout December) ---> Can we see this same show during the day or are they only referring to MVMCP?

Mickey's Night Before Christmas is performed several times daily beginning mid-December (Galaxy Palace Theater). ---> Ditto. Can we catch this during the day or only during MVMCP?

Celebrate the Season at Castle Forecourt Stage is performed daily beginning mid-December. ---> Does this mean we won't see Cinderellabration?

Very Merry Christmas Parade is performed daily beginning mid-December. ---> I thought the daily MK parade was different than MVMCP.

I can answer this one question. It is the same show both during MVMCP and during regular park hours.

I'll do my best!

1. I believe Country Bear does change to the Christmas show during the day after Thanksgiving.

2. I believe this is only seen at MVMCP and sometimes on a Saturday during December. I think I remember it being shown once the Saturday they filmed the parade for TV. Other then that, I think it's only seen at MVMCP.

3. I've never heard of that being shown during the day, and only at MVMCP except probably once MVMCP parties are over with then it can be seen during the day.

4. This parade can only been seen at MVMCP and once the parties are over with, it will replace the regular day time parade.

Most of these, except Country Bear Jamboree can only been seen at MVMCP UNTIL the week before Christmas and Christmas, once the last MVMCP is over with.

As usual, you've been a great help! That's probably what All Ears means when they say "mid-December".... after the last MVMCP. Makes sense now. At least we can catch the Country Bears Christmas show during the day. That'll free up a little more time at MVMCP.

I bought my tickets yesterday, and now it looks like we might have to change our vacation dates to later in the month. :sad2:

I know the tickets are non-refundable, but can they be transferred to a new date? :confused3

Thanks!

What date did you purchase? I didn't purchase mine for 11/29 yet and could help you out if the dates match. I will also be there for the 11/27 but wasn't originally planning to go that day.

Sorry you had to change plans.

If you already have your tickets, what do they look like? Are they similar to the MNSSHP tickets from last year (hard plastic, like a credit card, with a character on them)? Do the AP tickets look different from the regular tickets?

Thanks!

Add us for 12/9. It looks like beastlover and I will have the party to ourselves!! LTT at 5:45. Our tickets are plastic, like a credit card, and have Disney characters on them. I don't know about AP tickets, but by what I've read here, they're the same.

Yes they can be transferred to a new date. I had to do that in 2003. You have to call the ticket reservation to get their mailing address and mail down your tickets and a letter telling them which date you would like to exchange them for. THey will mail you back up new tickets.

Yes the tickets are hard plastic with the character on the.

AP tickets look like regular paper tickets with a character on them. Mine are from last year so I am not sure if you are wondering about what they look like in general or with the new celebration. But in general they are the paper kind with a character on them.

When I ordered my tickets I didn't make PS for LTT, does anyone know can I still do this or do you have to do it when you book your ticket?? Whats the likelihood of getting a PS now?? Also if I can make a PS now do I tell the CM that its for MVMCP?

Thanks

You can call up dining and make the reservation now. Just tell them the date and time you are looking for. If they tell you that you are not in the 90 day window say this is an MVMCP night and I already have tickets.

Its under their special events section for dining.

You should not have a problem. We did not order our tickets yet but did make our PS for LTT.

We are thinking about attending MVMCP during our visit in Dec. Is it possible to book a dinner reservation somewhere in the park (say crystal palace) and stay there between the closing and re-opening of the park for the MVMCP event?
