Count us in for December 8th! I sure hope all goes well, because I did not realize that these tickets are norefundable until after I bought them!! Duh!

Ok, now I'm a little confused. You mentioned that your tickets were paper. Do they have different forms of media for the tickets? Mine came in about a week ago and they were semi-rigid plastic. Do they issue ticket to MVMCP on both paper and the plastic? Or is mine a voucher? It doesn't say anything about having to redeem it?

I am confused as to wether or not I have to pick them up when I get there or if they will be mailed. I was told they would be mailed, but others are saying they were told to pick them up. Ours were purchased with the AP discount. CAJUNWDWFAN, are yours AP discount tix? How long did it take to receive them in the mail after you ordered them. It will be one week tomorrow for me.

A year of firsts for us, including 1st Xmas WDW trip.

Trying to pick a date to buy tickets, either Sun, 12/11 or Tues, 12/13. Wondering if the crowds should be the same both dates.

Additionally, trying to see into my crystal ball as to whether the EMH will remain the same for that time period - hard to predict, any input?

Hope to be able to enter park after 4:00 p.m. and ride the attractions, assume we'll be able to before the party actually begins. Really unsure of whether I want to "eat up" the party time on a PS, if available, for LTT.

Lastly, I must of missed what time the party actually ends "you don't have to go home, but you can't stay here". Thanks

What Special Holidays Happenings are at the Magic Kingdom?

The Magic Kingdom comes alive Thanksgiving weekend in full holiday decoration. Almost overnight, wreaths, bells, a bigger than life Christmas tree and holiday lights adorn the Magic Kingdom.

A number of special holiday shows take place from mid-December on. ---> "mid December or do they mean "after Thanksgiving"???

The Magic Kingdom Tree lighting ceremony takes place most nights on Main Street. ---> Where and when?

Country Bear Jamboree puts on a special holiday celebration you don't want to miss! (Usually runs throughout December) ---> Can we see this same show during the day or are they only referring to MVMCP?

Mickey's Night Before Christmas is performed several times daily beginning mid-December (Galaxy Palace Theater). ---> Ditto. Can we catch this during the day or only during MVMCP?

Diamond Horseshoe Christmas Revue

Celebrate the Season at Castle Forecourt Stage is performed daily beginning mid-December. ---> Does this mean we won't see Cinderellabration?

Very Merry Christmas Parade is performed daily beginning mid-December. ---> I thought the daily MK parade was different than MVMCP.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a special "hard ticket" event.

Tell me more about Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

The Magic Kingdom is transformed into a Holiday Partyland with special decorations. See the first snow fall of the season on Main Street, enjoy two performances of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Parade, have your family photograph taken and enjoy hot chocolate and cookies. A free souvenir button commemorates the event.

Holiday stage shows include the following: Every Day's a Holiday with Mickey, Minnie and the Kids of the Kingdom at the Castle---> Yet another different show in front of the castle? Same as "Celebrate the Season" mentioned above?; Diamond Horseshoe Christmas Revue; and Mickey's 'Twas the Night Before Christmas in Tomorrowland's Galaxy Palace Theatre. There are also choral groups, carolers, Santa Goofy and a special holiday edition of Wishes fireworks.

The parade is spectacular and is accompanied by great Disney Magic and Music.

All Ears typically has very good info, but this particular page is EXTREMELY vague and confusing.

I think DH will kill me, but I honestly can't wait!! While making our PS for LTT she mentioned this was a character meal - anyone have any idea about this??

Oh, one more question if you will....based on the previous posts, it looks like Toon Town will be closed during the party - any idea on what to do with a 3.5yo before the festivities begin? We have a 5:20 at LTT, and I can't imagine being there for more than an hour, which leaves us a bit short for the party - will we be corralled into a staging area while they clear out the park?

Yes, Liberty Tree Tavern is a character meal. There is usually Minnie, and according to allearsnet.com, Goofy, Pluto and "friends." Characters, as always, may vary.
Tomorrowland will be the only area open prior to 7 p.m. I think a three-year-old would enjoy Buzz Lightyear. My niece is four and loved it (in fact, she made me ride it four times during MVMCP last year).

Bought our tickets today for Tuesday, 12/13. CM stated they've never seen the dates sell so fast.

Also, got the last PS @ LTT for 5:25 p.m. Thanks to all who advised to book early. FYI, CM said they only had one other slot open later that evening. Never eaten @ LTT before, usually @ Chef Mickey's for character meals. Is the character interaction the same?

DH is still unsure...thinks we're "wasting our time eating, when we could be riding". I don't feel we're missing out on anything, assume we can ride before PS and afterwards in Tommorowland. It's my understanding we don't have to leave the park & re-enter @ 7:00 p.m. If I'm wrong please advise.

Well, thanks to you all I braved my first ever phone call to the US and have booked 18th December with a PS at Tonys. It was all so easy and painless. The two ladies I spoke to were wonderful and 'walked' me through each step. Im sooooo excited and ive only you to share with as my kids dont even know what ive planned!!

Here is my senario.

This year we decided to purchase AP's.

So when I called to order my AP's I also took advantage of the MVMCP AP discount night on Dec. 13th.

We paid the AP rate of $35.10 per ticket. My AP vouchers and MVMCP tickets arrived together in the mail. Now my theory is that the CM knew that I had AP's ordered so he was Ok with sending me my MVMCP tickets in the mail. I believe that if I was not to have purchase both at the same time that I also would have had to pick up my MVMCP tickets at will call when I arrived in December.

However some people on the DISboard have mentioned that their tickets were also sent to them in the mail. So it's almost hit or miss. Someone posted that CM's are not supposed to send MVMCP AP discounted tickets in the mail for the fact that you cannot prove over the phone that you actually have an AP in your posession. In theory someone with out an AP could call and get the discount and have the tickets mailed to them.

Don't worry you should get something in the mail, whether it be the tickets or some sort of invoice.

It took about two weeks to get our tickets.
