Is the phone the only way to order MVMCP tickets? I've looked all over the Disneyworld.com site and can only find the info page, no way to order tickets online that I can see...

Right now the phone may be the only way to do it. They will be on the website eventually. I would guess within the next week or so.

Just ordered ours for Dec. 6th. This is our first MVMCP after years of going to MNSSHP. While we'll miss the Halloween Party :sad1:, we're looking forward to our first Christmas at Disney. :o

We received all of our tickets yesterday!

(4) tickets to MVMCP on Dec. 13th(semi-hard plastic cards)
one Mickey, one Minnie, one Donald, one Goofy
The dates on the back were correct.

(2) 10 day park hopper w/ no expiration (semi-hard plastic cards)
one with Soarin on it and the other with Animal Kingdom on it
(these are for my parents)

(2) Annual pass vouchers (semi-hard plastic cards)
two very bright green cards with the words "exchange certificate" on them
(for my fiance and I)

I didn't realize that the tickets were going to be plastic cards. I was under the impression that the tickets were a heavy duty paper. I'm glad that they are semi-hard plastic cards. They will last longer (hopefully)

That is what is so weird about Disney. Passes with short lives are plastic, but annual passes, which you keep for a year, are paper. Strange to me. I've had my APs replaced many times from damage from getting wet in my back pocket on Kali. I've also had mine start to fray a bit. Seems they would go plastic.
:confused3

I've decided to keep 12/02 - It's paid for and so far it looks like we're the only ones for 12/02 (I know I'm dreaming about being only ones.. but don't wake me up yet). Lindsey

We got our MVMCP tickets last week. After reading this thread I called for PS for LTT 5:40pm. This will be our first year at Christmas and we were a bit nervous because we heard so many stories that every park was packed out the week of christmas. We will be there Dec 18th - 27th. We can't wait!!!! I am sure we will have a Magical Time at MVMCP. We got our tickets for the 20th. I have read that this is not a good day to go. I hope it works in our favor though. Any suggestions for a family of 4 for our first X-mas in Disney? We need to know the best place to eat our X-mas dinner and if all Disney resturants are open on X-mas eve/day.
Thank you so much for this thread, I have read many helpful things. :flower:

Is MVMCP worth the time and money if you're going alone? I'll be going to WDW spouse- and kid-free and would like to go to MVMCP, but am trying to find out if the whole thing is more exciting for kids and families. Please share your opinions and/or experiences. Thanks!

I just called and ordered our tickets for the party! I was also able to make dinner reservations at LTT for 5:40 PM (the CM said that we can enter at 5PM provide our confirmation # and MVMCP tickets and they will escort us to LTT). Add us to the list! :cool1:

lindsey gets Dec 2nd all to themselves. (I hope you understand I'm just kidding about nobody going on the 2nd-- it is a Friday and typically one of the more crowded nights according to this thread)

Still wondering if everyone who has 5pm ps for LTT are planning on staying there until 7 we could only get 6pm on the 29th and I am thinking we may not get seated if everyone else is waiting for the party to start before leaving.

I think you'll be alright. I would get there about 15 minutes early and check in.

I've eaten at 5:00p and 5:30p and both times I was done eating and out of the restaurant before 7:00p. Last year I ate at 5:00p and we were outside LTT about 6:30p.

LTT will be hopping those nights but I still think you'll be fine; they are good about letting you eat, see the characters BUT not waste time cause they know that others are waiting to be seated.

If you are really worried about it, I'd eat at CP or the Castle or Tony's.

Just got our tickets for 12/18. Very disappointed that the tckets do not have some sort of Christmas theme on them. They just have a picture of a Disney Character.

I think MVMCP is well worth it as a group or alone. To tell you the truth, last year we had 15 of us there and sometimes I wished I was alone :teeth:
If anything, you'll be able to stroll around and do things as you like.

Sorry to ask again but it wasn't answered earlier: has anyone received written confirmation of their AP discounted purchase of MVMCP tix? Should I expect NOT to? Gosh, that makes me nervous! Thanx!

I know Friday (12/02) will probably be busy, but it will only be me and DH - no kids, no elderly parents, no SIL/BIL, no married DS with family. This is our first trip alone -celebrating 25th anniversary..., but 11th trip to WDW. We will be there 7 days total. It's got to be better than Christmas week- talk about crowds!

When I ordered our tickets for MVMCP for Dec. 13th (which is a AP Discount night) I asked for the AP rate. I received the tickets in the mail two days ago and it list the costs on the invoice. If you purchase the MVMCP tickets with a credit card, check your credit card statement. They should have deducted $35.10 x however many tickets) and maybe $3.00 for shipping charge.
Note: When I purchase my MVMCP tickets I also purchase my AP's. You don't have to have the AP's at the time of purchasing the MVMCP tickets. Maybe they didn't ask since the CM knew I had just purchase my AP's.
