We decided to add the party on the 1st to our trip so now we are going twice on the 29th we could only get LTT for 6:10 do most people who go at 5 just stay in the restaurant until close to 7 or will we actually be able to get a table at 6:10 I have a 5:15 for the 1st just in case.

just wanted to add that you can also eat at CP, the Castle and the Plaza but they will only take PS till 6:00p

Question on this....we want to try the CP, so would we be able to make 5:30 PS, and stay til 6:30ish? Or by PS til 6pm, does that mean you have to be out by then?

Yes, you can make PS up until about 6:00p. They won't kick you out at 6:00p if you aren't done eating.

Why then is LTT "the choice" among MVMCP regulars? Seems like most people try to get a PS for LTT before 6pm so they don't miss the MVMCP. Just curious. (We've always wanted to eat at LTT anyway and figured this is a good chance)

I think it's the fact that it can be booked NOW. Most Disney planners are obssessive compulsive, me included!!

People just jump on the bandwagon so to speak. Some might book LTT because they see everyone else booking it and think the other restaurants aren't open. Some book LTT as a back up and then at 90 days book CP or the Castle. I know of a few DISers doing that. I don't see why, though but if it makes them feel better then go for it.

All the restaurants will be open till 6:00p, with LTT, and now Tony's, open during the party itself.

It could also be that LTT is pre-plated or maybe it's location in the park. I prefer CP myself cause I like the buffet variety.

Got my tickets today, but they are for 12/02. I know I asked for 12/01. Now I have to decide if I keep 12/02 or call and change back to 12/01. For past partiers, is Friday night "busier"?

We got our MVMCP tickets today!! WooHoo!
The tickets are neat too - plastic cards - one with Mickey one with Goofy! Our last name is on the back corner, and they are for the correct date.

We're going Thurs., Dec. 1st. Do you think it will sell out, since it's an AP discount day? My parents might be coming with us (they're deciding this week). But my brother might not know until much closer, depending on job and vacation days available.

Also, are the MVMCP dates more or less crowded during the days at MK (or no different)?

And one more related question: Are there still some early-entry magic hour days at MK during this time period? I have been having a hard time finding EMH hours, fireworks schedules, etc. for last Nov-Dec. Anyone know where I can find that info?

This is the first time Fridays are more expensive, but at least its not that much more. I guess just another way to make an extra buck or two.

Got my tickets today, but they are for 12/02. I know I asked for 12/01.

I called on 5/1 and got our MVMCP tickets for 12/4 and LTT 5:30 PS, but the process was riddled with cast member errors. Either they are SUPER swamped or this person was new or not well-trained. He sold me party tickets for the wrong date (and then gave me mis-information about how to get my credit card reimbursed -- and that whole process took a week). He then tried to insist that I could NOT make LTT PS this early -- I was very polite but very firm that under these circumstances, he could take the PS (and only after my insisting did he find the proper screen).

SO, be prepared to tell the cast member that there IS a drop-down menu that allows them to take your LTT seating, and try asking that they review your ticket arrangements BEFORE putting the order through so that you have a chance to catch any errors before you are charged.
