It kills me that they cut this off on 12/20. We're arriving 12/23!
Don't be down hearted! After the 20th the MK is one big Christmas party. The have the VMCP for the afternoon parade and the Christmas shows will be here and there in the park! You'll miss very little and have a wonderful time!!

Wow! I did not realize this! Did I waste money by buying MVMCP tickets? :confused3 We'll be there December 17-26.

No!! I'd still go! You'll love it! But if someone has to miss it, it's not so bad because they can still see most of it.

I don't think you wasted your money. You have the snow on Main Street, the free pics, the cookies, but mostly, you have the limited number of tickets, meaning less crowds.

What time is the parade for MVMCP? Is there more than 1? If so, is the second one better to see b/c less crowded? What about Wishes? We are going on 12/6/05 for the first time!

Thanks

I can't quote exact times, but there are two parades. From memory, I think they are at 830 PM and 11 PM or so with the fireworks in between. The fireworks will not be Wishes exactly, but a special show you can only veiw during the party.

Is the MVMCP Schedule the same every night or do they mix things up.

The reason I ask is, if it doesn't change from night to night, can we expect to have some nice person :sunny: post this years schedule after the first MVMCP night, 11/27.

Festivities are the same every night. Someone usually pops up on here with the schedule from the first party.

Can you get a schedule in the parks if you're not going that night? We will be in MK on 11/29 but not doing MVMCP until 12/1. We'll have our laptop, and I can post it on 11/29 if I'll be able to get a schedule?

That would be great Triplefigs! From the last two years I was there, I recall walking in through the train station sometime between 5-6p, and seeing both the MVMCP brochures and regular park guides out at that time.

I also definitely recall the maps being out by 5:00 if not earlier. Should not be a problem.

I'll get one and post it then on 11/29. We are doing dinner at the Plaza at 4:30pm and then staying for Spectro. Headed back to the GF and skipping Wishes since we'll see it 2 days later. I'll get on DH's laptop and post the info that night.

I was planning on going to MVMCP on the 20th of Dec. why is this a bad idea I have read this a few times but no reason is given. Is it really busy or just characters tired out or what

I think the reason behind the recommendation is because it is the last one of the season, closest to Christmas which equates to most likely the busiest one of all the MVMCP.

Hey I know you!!!! :rotfl:

I just can't hold in how stinking excited I am for my upcoming trip!!!!!!!

The first parade is around 8:30, fireworks 9:15, second parade 10:30. Less crowds at the second, no way there are just as many people at the first as there are the second parade.

True, limited number of tickets sold for the party. We found little to no wait on a majority of the rides including Space Mountain which we just walked up to and got right on the ride.

The party starts at 7PM, but you can enter as early as 4PM. We will be arriving early this year, in the past we have waited until 7PM, hey if I can gain a couple of hours why not, plus we have dinner reservations at LTT at 5:30.
