Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Central 2005

I'm sure this is answered somewhere in the last 137 pages, but I didn't see it.

In the past, we have entered MK just after 4pm on a MVMCP ticket only. And we had a ressie at Crystal Palace between park closing & party opening.

My question is: If we enter park at 4pm, and we DON'T have a dinner ressie, is there a place in the park that is open (like Cosmic Rays) between park closing & party opening?

I read here that party goers will be herded into Tomorrowland -- where the rides will be open. Is there any food available there?

Trying to keep this a low cost trip.....and it's a short trip, so only time in MK will be during MVMCP, so don't want to spend time sitting & eating this time.

Anyone have an answer?? Thanks.

Last year it was Tomorrowland and yes, Cosmic Rays was open. The location could change this year. For MNSSHP they changed the location to Adventureland. I heard Pesco Bills was open. We won't know which location/land they'll leave open until the first party. Probably Tomorrowland but could change.

Thanks very much for the info. At least we know something will be open.

doesn't make sense. How many tickets?

Sorry!! my post was confusing. I purchased three tickets, two are adult tickets and one is a child's ticket. The price per adult ticket including tax was $46. My total is $133. I didn't know weekends were more expensive so I thought they were only $36 per ticket. Now I understand that cause it's a friday, they are more.

Please help!!
Had to change our MVMCR night!!!
I have 2 adult & 1 child tickets for December 6th at a great price plus free shipping!
If you're interested send me a PM!

If you're just changing nights (and haven't already purchased new ones for the new night), I was told by Disney that they will exchage nights (granted the night isn't already sold out). That way you don't have to mess with selling the original one.

Well I did ask her before I bought new tickets but she said they would not change the night... :sad2: Guess I talked to the wrong CM.

Who knows.

When I called and bought mine back in June, I SPECIFICALLY asked the CM if I would be able to trade my tickets in for a different night if it turned out that I wanted to go on 12/1 instead of 11/29. He said that trading nights was no problem as long as the new night wasn't sold out. He then said that there were no returns, just trades.

I've read a few other posts on this thread saying the same thing as what I was told.

HOWEVER, whether or not anyone has actually been able to trade tickets is another story. What may be the rule one day may change the next and not all CMs give the same answers.

Has anyone been able to trade dates yet?

This was for the MNSSHP, but I was face to face with a CM at Guest Relations at the MK Main Gate buying tixs for that evenings party, and mentioned that I had tix for 10/28, but my DD wanted to stay that night - we were there to pick up our APs just going to stay until 6pm - he asked me - I did not ask him, if I wanted to trade the tickets in..... I did not as she wanted to go twice this year. Since it was a face to face transaction, I feel pretty comfortable that exchanging for a different night (if not sold out) is do-able - I would think like for like tickets too -

I hope all works out!

It never occurred to me we'd want to go two nights... but I guess that's a possibility now. :rotfl: I guess we'll see what happens! But I'd probably still sell them for a discount if anyone is interested.

I traded 4 MVMCP tickets that I bought for 12-8 for 4 tickets for 12-20, when we changed our trip dates. I just had to send them in with a note, and they sent me the new tickets.

Well, I guess I'll know to keep asking until I get someone who will exchange next time. Thanks for the info everyone.
BTW... earlier in the thread someone mentioned which day they are filming the parade at MK... anyone remember???

Going two nights would be FUN!

However, if you decide not to go two nights and no one on the DIS takes you up on your generous offer, you can always try e-Bay. Here is a link to one posting on e-Bay for MVMCP tickets to use as an example: http://cgi.ebay.com/5-tickets-Passe...ryZ16122QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem (and NO, this is not my posting on e-Bay!)

Good luck!

Thanks so much for the encouragement... and for the link! :flower:

We got our tickets for our MVMCP last night!! WOO HOOOO!

I think we are down to about 29 days!

I think my kids would tire out by the time this gets into full swing... would me and DH enjoy ourselves alone? I've never been, but I'm a big Disney fan. :earboy2:

OH MY GOODNESS! If you can get a babysitter and go to the party (sans kids) you'd probably have a BLAST! DH and I went (in our days before kids) and loved it.

It's still special, even for adults. ;)
