Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Central 2005

What is the AP discount come too? The CM told me $35.10 per adult. Is that right?

When I call CRO do I press the dining option or what? I'm confused.....
Kimba

I chose Dining, and they are transferring me to recreation. I don't even remember hearing an option for that. :confused3

How long does it normally take for tickets to sell out? We're hoping to go December 20th, but I can't buy tickets this month (Dh needs a new tire and one dog is due for a checkup). I already got our PS for LTT, which I assume is harder to get as more time passes. Just wanted to make sure we get our tickets before they sell out...I know the last party usually sells out, but since this year it's a Tuesday, I wasn't sure how it would affect things. I can use a CC if necessary, but I'd rather not. What do y'all think?

The last one will sell out but I don't think it will for a couple of months. I believe it might have been August last year when they sold out. Just buy them ASAP because you never know; each year it's more and more popular.

My dining guy said he couldn't book it - didn't know what I was talking about. Now I'm on hold...again. I've done this so many times over the years - I was trying to help him through the process, but he just didn't get it.

Thanks! I'll make sure I save up this month as best I can. :)

When I first asked about making a PS for LTT, I was told I could only do it 90 days in advance. I told the CM that I had heard that I could do a PS before MVMCP at the same time I bought my tickets, she checked on it and sure enough, I was right. :) Thanks to the DIS, of course!

After waiting, and waiting...my CM said the tickets don't go on sale until May 2. I told him that people were already buying them like crazy today, and he said he couldn't understand that as they do not go on sale until May 2. I need to call back then.

Soooo, I hung up and am trying for another CM.

It really makes a difference what CM you get. I called this morning, got one that was very short with me. So I said thank you, hung up and called back.
Got NoJ and MVMCP and LTT all taken care of. She even asked if i wanted to book mt dining now. She(Sophia) was great!!! Now if the summer would just fly by!!!

So are the AP discounts only available for certain dates? Also I read someone was able to get their LTT reservation but didn't get the tickets....how are they handeling this? Do I call dining for reservation and call the main line for tickets? Arg...how does the normal person plan a darn trip to WDW? :)

OK finally! Opal is helping!

I did that! I can't get my tickets just yet, but knew I should try to get LTT. I just called WDW dining and was able to get the PS. :) I'm still debating if I'll just call to order the tickets and use a credit card..I'm so paranoid that they'll sell out sooner than I think!

Please excuse the dumb question but...

Can I buy MVMCP tickets at the AP price without having purchased our AP yet? :scratchin We intend to pick up at least one AP the 3rd week of November. If we can do that does the AP expiration countdown begin from the time we purchase MVMCP tickets or from the date you attend? I ask this because I 've read here AP rates can be used to book rooms in advance of AP purchase & expiration countdown starts with checkin day.

Either way ( :goodvibes ) we are aiming for MVMCP for 29 Nov or 1 Dec--

Gee, I need to calm down! Just too antsy with anticipation!

Thanks!

Called main Disney #. Pressed 1 for setting up new resort reservation. Was on hold 10 minutes. Colleen came on. I asked about tickets for MVMCP and she got me the tickets I needed for Dec. 20. No hesitation or frustrating call backs. I hope they have all CMs updated now. The process was easy and uneventful for me.

Good luck to all. Can't wait! :cool1:
