The sun starts setting around 5-6p around that time of year. I am having my wedding outdoors in WDW that Monday at 5p and it is timed specifically for the beginning of sunset during the ceremony.

Enjoying reading all the info on this event-sounds too good to pass by! So, I was wondering if it's too early for the 2005 dates, since according to this years time schedule the Friday before X-mas week is the last night and we will be visiting for the first time on Dec.19th (Mon) Looks like I'll be making a RSVP change if this is true-Thanks Kim:earsgirl:

It's really hard to say but looks like the last party next year will be the 16th or possibly the 18th. They usually stop the Friday of the week before Christmas.

You don't start hearing about actual dates till at least April; this year the tickets went on sale May 1 and we knew the dates for about a month before they went on sale.

Wow I only read the last few pages of this thread and so many people have a ps for CP..... I do too !! but mine is for 12/17!!

:bounce:

Okay gang, can I just tell you that last nigt something hit me like a ton of bricks!? I was talking to my girls (having a nice little chat about how they need to save their money and stop begging for things in the stores because they'll need that money for WDW) last night and I made the statement of, "We'll be going to Disney world in a little over TWO MONTHS!" OMG! It's that close! Every day I see the counter, but never really give a thought about how close our trip really is! Whooo Hooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just had to start my Sunday out with a happy WDW dance! LOL :Pinkbounc :bounce:

HollyJoy, we are arriving the same day and I was just struck by that not 5 minutes ago!!! Can't believe we're so close!
(Your girls are gorgeous, by the way!)

We are going to MMVMCP on 12/7. I was wondering if the Pop Warner group will be attending the party.
:earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsgirl:

add us in your :boat:

We cannot wait.

Will pop warner attend, who knows? That would just mean that their parents would have to put up more extra money to go. But remember only 20,000 tickets are being released for each party.

Why thank you! :)

I will be there with my friend (we are both former Disney Store Castmembers) for the first time during the holidays. Going the first weekend in December and attending MVMCP on Sunday night the 5th!

Woo Hoo! Can't wait!!

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know if the 17th is already sold out for this year? Also, can anyone tell me how crowded it is as a whole as the World? I'm really on the line about going or not because my Dh isn't the biggest crowd fan. Suggestions please!

As far as crowds go, they (reportedly) only sell 20,000 tickets. The average daily attendance at MK is 40,000. However....

those 40,000 aren't necessarily all there at the same time. The 20,000 at MVMCP ARE all there at the same time. And sometimes they are nearly all trying to do the same thing at the same time, such as watch the first parade or watch Wishes.

Even still, it's no worse than an average day, and sometimes it's better. In my limited experience, ride queues are shorter, if only because there are other things to do. And if it doesn't sell out, it may not be crowded at all.

We'll be at the 12/9 party, if only I can keep my eyes open. :p I'm such a wimpy early bird.

I have a PS for LTT on Thursday the 9th for 7:05. Should I cancel my PS and try for somewhere else earlier so we won't miss part of the party or is LTT really part of the party atmosphere and I should keep my PS even though we'll miss some of the actual party??
HELPPP-this is our very first MVMCP!!

For me, I'm paying big bucks for the party and I don't want to miss a second of it so I usually make my PS no later than 5:30p so I'll be done in plenty of time for the start of the party. IMHO.

I would not miss any of the party. If you do not have PS until 7:05 I am sure you will not be seated until 7:20 or 7:30. You will probably not be out until after 8:30. I would not want to miss any of the party. Last year at MNSSHP we had hot dogs at Casey's on Main Street while watching the first parade. We actually were able to get seats there for my parents and my boyfriends father. We also got ice cream from Main Street Ice Cream Parlor after the parade and had that during fireworks. There is so much to do at the parties, I would not waste time eating inside someplace. This year we are going to MVMCP and have 5:30 PS at LTT. Since you can get into the park at 4:00 hopefully we can do some things before dinner and then get out in time for the party to start.
Linda
