Mickey's Toontown Morning Madness & taking the Train

We're going to DL on Monday Memorial Day (yes it's crazy but we've got 4 days) and we'd like to do the MTMM.

Can we take the train and get there in time for the ceremony? We're willing to be in line by 7:15A. Where would the best line be for the train?

Our youngest is 4 1/2, no stroller, so not sure how fast we can get across the park, even if we're first through the gates.

Also, any chance they open the gates before 8:00A and let people onto Main Street? Then we could walk as far as the ropes at Fantasyland? We'd be closer then if we're standing in line for the train which doesn't leave until 8:00A.

Are you aware that MTTMM is a ticketed event? You get the tickets if you purchase a vacation package.

MTTMM starts an hour before toon town opens to everyone. Usually Toon Town opens at 10 am so there should be plenty of time to get to the back of the parks for the 9 am MTTMM.

Besides I would suggest that walking is faster than taking the train. It takes some time to load and unload the trains and it makes the extra stop in New Orleans Square.
