Mickey's Spooktacular In Room Celebration

Whew -- almost missed out on ordering Mickey's Spooktacular in room celebration. I called this morning only to be told that they were sold out! The women who helped me took my name and number and said that she needed to confirm that they were, in fact, not taking any more orders.

Well, she just called back and gave me the good news that she could place my order because the Disney Florist is expecting a new shipment to fill these orders!

My advice, if you are interested in having this done, you might want to call as soon as possible.....

I agree -- I decided to take the plunge because I really want to surprise my niece and Halloween is my favorite holiday! I also have read that the Disney Florist does a great job.

Anything we've ever gotten from Disney Florist has had a huge mark-up in price I agree. But their quality is excellent. Last March I had DH take the kids down to the arcade one evening and I did a little surprise of my own while they were gone. Then I went down to meet them, we had ice cream and walked around, then when we came back to the room for bedtime they never thought for a second I had done it myself.

I thought about trying to pull off the surprise by myself. I, however, will be jammed up with work between now and the time that we leave. I am excited to see how the celebration turns out. It is being done on October 22, and I will let everyone know how it goes.

I did one of the Halloween baskets (with a little tweaking and customization) and it was perfect! It was brought to our room just after we checked in. Great way to start the trip.

We did the Halloween basket last year for my oldest dd b/c we were going to MNSSHP as mother and daughter. It was wonderful. She used the mickey pumpkin for trick or treating at home. I think they will love the in room celebration this year, but I'd love to hear a first hand review.

Sorry for the delayed response, but I just stumbled across the request for a review. The in-room celebration I ordered last year was great. My niece loved everything about the surprise and enjoyed looking through all of the goodies. The door had a welcome banner on it that was covered with fake cobwebs and plastic spiders, there was a pumpkin full of treats (lollipops, rice crispie treats, etc.), a light up carved gourd, a personalized photo from Mickey and Minnie, light up necklaces (a ghost and bat), large Mickey and Minnie stuffed animals, two halloween antennae, a personalized blanket, an autograph book (again, personalized and signed by Mickey), and several other surprises. The decorations and display of gifts made the room look great.
