Mickey's So Long Summer Cruise 2.0

That is not right!!! :sad2: They should give us something, don't you think?

They probably don't feel like they need to since it is so new that people will be hankering to cruise DCL out of NY. I wish they would give us one too since they will be cruising out of Seattle, but I expect they won't here either.

In preparing for online registration I would like to know if we will have to re-submit our passport information if DCL already has it from our past cruising:confused3

Breaking Amtrak News: kids ride the auto train for $19!

Checkout the deals! Good for our cruise!!!

If anyone plans to book let me know, I have a loyalty rewards program that could add up to frequent rider miles.

I tried to check a quote with this offer and the discount did not register. I went all the way up to checkout but the discount was never applied:confused3

On another note, I went in to check the NY 8 night cruises and if you can get over the sticker shock and realize that you have an extra day and don't have to pay air fare and a car rental. It actually works out to be cheaper or a wash:thumbsup2

The only big difference is whether you like a lot of sea days and the visiting ports.

Joe, try Amtrak again. I might have posted the news before it became official.

We booked August 17 New York. I'm sure in the long run we'll save a few dollars on that trip.

August 17:confused3 Won't you be on the Dream on that date???

Also, when you do your palo booking and any possible excursions, let us know what is available:thumbsup2

We have 3 cruises booked:

Dream 2011
Fantasy Aug 25 2012
Magic Aug 17 2012

I paid off the Dream yesterday!:cool1:

My booking date opens May 3, midnight here I come!

There is only one sea day so booking Palo brunch may be impossible online for us silver cc's:rolleyes1

Therefore there will be an amazing race to the Dream to get my palo brunch reservation:rotfl:

I put this on the main thread yesterday but I wasn't sure if you all saw this.

I was trying to see if I could get more information about the Celebrity Silouette float out so that MW could add more blocks to the Fantansy when I came upon these pics.

If you scroll to the bottom of the page, you will see the block or blocks for the Walt Disney Theater:thumbsup2

How's that for snooping around:thumbsup2

Michele, I know your proud of me:rotfl:

My baby brother and family just booked their first DCL cruise today:cool1: They will be traveling with us on the 8/25/12 Eastern.

I am waiting to see if anymore family members will be joining us:thumbsup2

Went to check my flights on SW and some of the prices went down!
I switched to the 6AM nonstop flight down and now have a credit of
$113.00 !
so excited not to have a layover:cool1:

Joe good work my man!

It's going to be a mess booking anything! I wish they would do more than one Palo brunch considering how many people are on this ship! There will be a lot of disappointed cruises.

Great news about your brother and the Fantasy! I'm leaning more toward the Magic out of NY. The math works so well in our favor!
Joanne, I checked my SWA too, it went down $6! Not worth the trouble for us"

If I can't get a reservation for palo brunch, maybe you can sneek a pizza to me in your pocketbook:rotfl:

Oh yeah, and maybe a chicken parm too:thumbsup2

We have put it off long enough...the cruise is finally paid!!!

More good news...thanks to the boards, found out that our hotel rooms at the Country Inn has also come down a bit.....every little bit helps!!!

the kids REALLY want to do a dolphin excursion...Michele, I remember you said you have done it before...did you book through DCL, or did you book it privately? Trying to figure out the best option

anyone else done this at Nassau?
